Einladung zur hochschulöffentlichen Disputation im Rahmen des Promotionsverfahrens von Larissa Gebken
Titel der Dissertation: Value-sensitive Digital Social Innovation for Marginalized People: Designing, Shaping, and Reflecting on a Concept to Support Humans Experiencing Homelessness
Our society faces significant challenges, including poverty, inequality, and homelessness. Digital Social Innovation (DSI) utilizes information and communication technologies to address these issues. However, the design of DSIs carries significant responsibility, particularly when engaging marginalized people. Research on ethical considerations in DSI is limited. This dissertation addresses this gap by integrating DSI with Value Sensitive Design (VSD) and applying an extended form of Action Design Research on the DSI project OpenStreetPay.
The presentation will be given in German.
