Titel der Dissertation: Entwurf, Entwicklung und Evaluierung eines automatischen Prozesses für Protein-Ligand-Docking

Protein-ligand docking is a key technique in structure-based drug design. This thesis describes the development and evaluation of the automated JAMDA workflow for structure preparation and protein-ligand docking. The JAMDA workflow is characterized by robustness, hight result quality and ease of use via a web interface. As integral parts of the docking process, the JAMDA scoring function together with a tailored gradient-based numerical optimization algorithm were developed.
