Titel der Dissertation: Model-Based Deep Speech Enhancement for Improved Interpretability and Robustness

Noise interference may reduce communication fluency among participants during teleconferencing and negatively affect the speech recognition and understanding modules of a voice-controlled machine. While deep learning-based methods have advanced the field significantly, gaining robustness and interpretability remains challenging. This thesis investigates these challenges by incorporating statistical modeling into deep learning-based speech enhancement frameworks.
