RESCUE-MATE ist Teil der Hamburger Digitalstrategie

We are delighted that the RESCUE-MATE project is now part of Hamburg's digital strategy with the recent decision and that we can make our contribution to a modern and resilient metropolis.
As part of RESCUE-MATE, we, Marten Borchers, Enrico Milutzki, Valeria Magdych, and Eva Bittner from the Informatiuon Systems, Socio-Technical System Design working group and Martin Semmann from the Hub of Computing and Data Science (HCDS) at the University of Hamburg, are contributing to this, particularly in the area of the interface to citizens, with the development of a RESCUE-MATE APP. This is intended to open a bidirectional channel between them and emergency-relevant stakeholders to provide information, warnings, and navigation depending on the location, situation, and needs, e.g., to find the nearest emergency shelter. In addition, citizens will also have the opportunity to provide information in text and image form in order to support the creation of situation reports in the event of storm surges and flooding, among other things.
