Forschungsprofil
Eva Bittner leitet seit Oktober 2015 den Arbeitsbereich Wirtschaftsinformatik, insb. sozio-technische Systemgestaltung (WISTS) am Fachbereich für Informatik der Universität Hamburg. Ihre Forschungsinteressen liegen im Bereich Collaboration Engineering, Mensch-Maschine-Kollaboration, Hybrid Intelligence, Wissensarbeit und -management, IT-Innovationsmanagement und Co-Creation/Social Innovation. Insbesondere beschäftigt sie sich mit der Gestaltung von Kollaborationsprozessen und -praktiken für wissensintensive Tätigkeiten unter Einsatz der Möglichkeiten moderner IKT. Anwendungsdomänen Ihrer Arbeit reichen von Kleingruppen bis Crowd Work in Organisationen unterschiedlichster Größen und Branchen, z.B. in der agilen Softwarentwicklung, im Kundenservice, in der Automobilindustrie, in der öffentlichen Bürgerbeteiligung/Smart City.
Eva Bittner ist Autorin zahlreicher nationaler und internationaler Fachpublikationen (u.a. Journal of Management Information Systems JMIS, Business and Information Systems Engineering BISE, Information & Management). Sie koordiniert aktuell die KI Nachwuchsgruppe HyMeKI (https://hymeki.informatik.uni-hamburg.de/) und forschte in dem vom BMBF geförderten Verbundforschungsprojekt INSTANT instant.informatik.uni-hamburg.de, welches mittlerweile erfolgreich abgeschlossen ist. Eva Bittner ist Mitglied im Leitungsgremium der Fachgruppe CSCW in der Gesellschaft für Informatik, Expertin bei der Plattform Lernende Systeme (https://www.plattform-lernende-systeme.de) und als Track Chair, Associate Editor und Reviewer für zahlreiche Konferenzen und Journale tätig. Eva Bittner wurde im Februar 2015 an der Universität Kassel mit einer Arbeit zum Thema „Designing for Shared Understanding - How Collaboration Engineering can Improve Team Effectiveness of Heterogeneous Groups“ promoviert.
