On December 5, 2023, we are welcoming Prof. Dr. Sandra Wachter as our next guest. The lecture will be virtual only. Sandra Wachter will examine several EU legal frameworks, explain how current technical fixes such as bias tests are not only insufficient to protect marginalised groups but also clash with the legal requirements in Europe and introduce some of the solutions she has developed, that were implemented by tech companies and fed into public policy recommendations and legal frameworks around the world.
