Hi, I am Irina, a postdoctoral researcher working under the supervision of Prof. Chris Biemann. I work on the ACQuA-2.0 project, which aligns with my interests in semantics, argument mining, taxonomies, and knowledge graphs.
I got my PhD n Computational and Data Science and Engineering at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology in September, 2022. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degree at the National Research University Higher School of Economics (NRU HSE).
During my PhD studies I organized a shared task on Taxonomy Enrichment (RUSSE’2020), helped with the RuArg-2022: Argument Mining Evaluation shared task, RUSSE’2022: the First Russian Detoxification Shared Task. Moreover, I am Chair of International Conference on Analysis of Images, Social Networks and Texts (AIST) in the Network Analysis track. I also was a secretary of the organizing committee of the 9th and 10th AISTs in 2020 and 2021. I am also one of the co-founders of the RusNLP search engine for the Russian NLP conferences.
