I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science, summa cum laude, from the University of Hamburg, a German University of Excellence, where I was a member of the Language Technology Group advised by Prof. Dr. Chris Biemann.
Before joining the LT Group, I received my M.Eng. and B.Eng. in Computer Science from South China University of Technology in 2019 and 2016, respectively.
Research Interests:
My research focuses on large language models, multimodal foundation models, and agentic systems, with an emphasis on training and alignment, evaluation and interpretability, and multilingual and multimodal learning for real-world applications. More broadly, I am interested in developing trustworthy AI systems that are controllable, reliable, interpretable, and useful in real-world applications.
