SWK @ ICSA 2025
3 April 2025, by SWK
Researchers from the SWK research group are involved with the ICSA 2025 conference in multiple ways.
The International Conference on Software Architecture (ICSA) is the premier conference for software architecture. This year's edition takes place in Odense, Denmark from March 31 to April 04, 2025.
Sebastian Werner presents a paper on energy efficiency (co-authored by researchers from TU Berlin):
- S. Werner, K. Wolf, M. C. Borges, S. Tai: A Comprehensive Experimentation Framework for Energy-Efficient Design of Cloud-Native Applications. Preprint. [ICSA 2025 Best Paper Award]
He has further co-authored a contribution to the poster track on observability with Maria C. Borges (TU Berlin):
- M. C. Borges, S. Werner: Continuous Observability Assurance in Cloud-Native Applications. Preprint.
Marion Wiese has co-authored a paper on biases in architectural decision making (together with researchers from Poland and Brazil):
- K. Borowa, R. Reboucas de Almeida, M. Wiese: Debiasing Architectural Decision-Making: An Experiment With Students and Practitioners. Preprint.
Former SWK members Sebastian Frank and André van Hoorn have contributed to a paper presented by Andrés Díaz-Pace (UNICEN University, Argentina):
- V. Isakov, A. Diaz Pace, S. Frank, A. van Hoorn: Architecture Optimization using Surrogate-based Incremental Learning for Quality-attribute Analyses.
Leif Bonorden is part of the conference's organizing committe, serving as web co-chair.
