Library Catalogues

You can search for print media and e-media in library catalogues.

For print media, the catalogs list the location and shelfmark under which the required book can be found in the library. You will be directed to the full text of the licensed e-media of the University of Hamburg.

Campus Catalogue / KatalogPlus

In the Campus Catalogue, you will find literature from the Staats- and Universitätsbibliothek Hamburg (SUB) and the subject libraries of the University of Hamburg (including availability information) as well as all licenced Ebooks and Ejournals.

The Katalogplus is an extension of the Campus Catalogue and also lists academic articles from journals that are mainly available in the University of Hamburg library system in electronic or printed form. Members of the University of Hamburg can also use the Campus Delivery Service to order individual articles, contributions, etc. from print media and have them sent by e-mail as PDF files.

In both catalogues you will find information about the current availability of the media. You can usually reserve borrowed print media via a corresponding link. Furthermore, you get access to your user account with all functionalities in both catalogues.

KatalogHamburg

In the KatalogHamburg you will find the stocks of many Hamburg libraries. You will also find several million electronic documents from the German national licenses, which are freely available to you.

Union Library Catalogue (GVK)

The GVK is the Union Catalogue of of seven German federal states and the Foundation of Prussian Cultural Heritage participating in the Common Library Network (GBV). This multimaterial bibliographic database covers the holdings of over 37.1 million records of more than 450 GBV member and associated libraries with over 89.2 million separate catalogue entries of books, conference proceedings, periodicals, dissertations, microfilms and electronic resources. The periodicals of all subito-supplying libraries and other university libraries from Germany are also integrated.

Further Catalogues
