Complete downloads of eBooks from the platform Springer Link are possible. Downloaded pdf files are provided DRM-free, but includes an invisible watermark due to copyright protection. Please note the regulations of German copyright law when using. Downloading systematically complete online books or large parts of them is usually not allowed according to the copyright law. ProQuest Ebook Central
The Informatics Library offer access to eBooks from various publishers via the eBook platform ProQuest Ebook Central. The licensed titles are available in the Campus Catalogue and in Katalogplus and are accessible via the campus network.
The eBooks are restricted by digital rights management. These limit online use, printing and forwarding. A one-time free registration allows you to download, copy and print individual chapters, set bookmarks and add markers and notes. Detailed instructions and tips for use (in German).

MIT Press Computing & Engineering Collection eBooks Library
The MIT Press Computing & Engineering Collection eBooks Library (currently up to publication year 2021) includes nearly 900 monographs, textbooks, and reference works. Access is available via the IEEE Xplore platform.
The titles are searchable within the library catalogues and - like all licensed eBooks - accessible from the university IP range (or VPN). An overview of the available titles with the individual links is available via the Campus Catalogue or Katalogplus.
Reference Books
Several Reference Books are subscribed as eBooks. These online publications are accessible via computers on the Informatic Campus.
In addition, members and students of the University Hamburg can use these publications from other computers within the IP-Range (IP 134.100.*.*). You can either use VPN-Dienst der Universität Hamburg (UHH) or a valid library-card is required.
