Selected Computer Science Databases
- ACM Digital Library offers full text of every article ever published by ACM and bibliographic citations from major publishers in computing.
- IEEE Xplore / Electronic Library Online (IEL) (fulltext database) is a digital library providing full text access to technical literature in electrical engineering, computer science, and electronics from 1988 onwards, partly even from 1913 onwards. IEEE Xplore contains full text documents from IEEE journals, transactions, magazines, letters, conference proceedings, standards, and IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology) publications. IEEE Xplore will be updated frequently with new content as it becomes available.
Individual articles from some IEEE periodicals are posted online before they are published in print. These articles have passed through all editorial processes, including peer-review and are not available in print until the issue is complete.
- Digital Library of the Geselleschaft für Informatik: In the Digital Library of the GI, the publications of the GI are collected - i.e. journal articles, conference contributions, various newsletters and other grey literature - and partly available as full texts. Search and also access to some full texts is possible for everyone without registration.
Eurographics Digital Library (fulltext database): Eurographics (European Association for Computer Graphics) is the leading international organization devoted to the needs of professionals in computer graphics and all related visual disciplines.
The Eurographics Digital Library includes Computer Graphics Forum and papers of the Eurographics Conferences since 1980 in full text. Access from the Informatics Campus only.
- AIS eLibrary is one of the most comprehensive and extensive electronic libraries in the field of information systems and contains access to AIS journals (excludes access to MISQ and ISJ) and conference proceedings.
Interdisciplinary Databases (Selection)
Web of Science (reference database) consists of seven databases containing information gathered from thousands of scholarly journals, books, book series, reports, conferences, and more.
The Web of Science citation databases contain the references cited by the authors of the articles. You can use these references to do cited reference searching. This type of search allows you to find articles that cite a previously published work.
POLLUX: The Subject Information Service (FID) for Political Sciences provides direct access to electronic publications (e-books, e-journals, e-articles), scientific Open Access documents, research data and content from subject databases and newspaper archives.
