Restore your own data yourself
The user data for Informatik accounts are kept on Windows file servers, which support automatic version backups. Here you can restore files or previous versions of files / folders that you have accidentally deleted:
Restoring data using Windows-Explorer
The graphical user interface of the "File Explorer" is used for restoring under Windows. The prerequisite is that your data is kept on the Windows file servers "rzfilesrv1", "rzfilesrv2" or "rzfilesrv3"; this is already the case for student users born in 2011 and up and for all employees.
Under Unix / Linux you can recognize this by the prefix "/informatik1/", "/informatik2/" or "/informatik3/" in the path of your home directory. Under Windows please open a "File Explorer" app - your will find your home directory connected as a network drive with the prefix "\\ rzfilesrv1 \ ...", "\\ rzfilesrv2 \ ... or" \\ rzfilesrv3 \ .. ". You can simply follow the following illustrated instructions (as an example for a student base directory on" rzfilesrv2 "):
