Central Printers in the Computing Centre

The IRZ offers the following printers. Please note that these printers are not intended for individual printing of lecture scripts. Scripts should be provided in printed form by the course organizers.

Also, please note the information regarding the printing cost sharing for students.

d001_sw (2 x Dell 5210n)

  • Virtual printer queue for smaller print jobs in the pool

Note:

The following printers managed by the system support in D-107 are not directly accessible to users. Print jobs are processed only during times when support staff are present, usually in the afternoon when student assistants are available.

Large volume or confidential/non-public print jobs should preferably be scheduled in advance (the day before) with user support to avoid (timing) issues.

The queues are temporarily set to "autohold" to prevent uncontrolled printing.

rz_a4hold (Dell 5330dn)

  • Note: no longer intended for "immediate release," in "autohold" mode!
