Seminar Rooms / Lecture Halls
In the summer semester 2026, the Department of Informatics moved from to the Bundesstraße. Students and staff of the department have found a new home in the newly constructed MIN-Forum (Bundesstraße 56a) and the House of Informatics ("Haus der Informatik") (Bundesstraße 56b).
Both buildings house lecture halls and seminar rooms used by the MIN Faculty. The MIN-Forum also houses the MIN Library, the Academic Office, and a cafeteria.
MIN-Forum (Bundesstraße 56a)
The MIN Forum consists of two sections. The first section of the building houses the lecture halls and seminar rooms, while the second section houses the library and the Academic Office.
The Academic Office is accessible only through the library. Use the stairs or the elevator in the foyer to enter the library on the first floor. Next, take the elevators at the end of the library hallway or the stairs next to them to the 5th floor, where you’ll find yourself right in the Informatics Academic Office. The Informatics Library is right next to it.
House of Informatics (Bundesstraße 56b)
The House of Informatics houses most of the department’s workspaces. Across 11 floors, faculty and staff conduct research and teach. The building also houses the department’s two largest lecture halls, as well as several seminar rooms. The department administration and the Informatics Student Council are also located in this building.
